The Federal Public Service Commission has announced 492 vacancies for Inspector Inland Revenue of PBS-16 under the FBR. 

Job applications must be submitted by 16 August.

Inspector Inland revenue Job Description

Inland Revenue Inspectors are responsible for tax administration, tax reforms, and revenue collection. 

Their responsibilities are basically to take care of Pakistan's land revenues and to implement Pakistan's tax collection policy. 

Thus, the state will be able to collect as much revenue as possible. 

FBR works throughout Pakistan, so all Pakistanis can apply for jobs.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation with Business, Stat, Economics, Law 

Currently, many students are confused about their eligibility. 

If they have completed BS Honors with one of the listed subjects and have studied any of the mentioned subjects can apply for this job.

Those law students who have completed their education and received their degrees are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

There is a general job relaxation of 5 years for candidates over the age of 28. 

Therefore, students with an age between 28 and 33 years old will be qualified to apply.

Paper Pattern

FPSC will administer the examination which consists of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and total marks will be 100.

  1. Syllabus 

  • The Objective Type Test (MCQ) consists of 100 questions
  • English part I = 20 marks
  • Use of grammar, structure of sentences
  • IQ (General Intelligence) Test in Part II = 80 marks

The syllabus for Inspector Inland Revenue is divided into two parts. 

No. 1 Part is English, and it contains 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that contain vocabulary, grammar, and composition corrections. 

These are basic level English questions.

In Part No. 2, you will have 80 marks of multiple choice questions and it would be a profession related. 

This means that all 80 marks will include questions related to FBR.

You can prepare for job exams by studying the following topics

  1. Function of FBR 
  2. Tax Administration
  3. Income Tax Ordinance from 2001 Up to July 2021 
  4. Sales Tax  act 1990
  5. Federal Excise act  2005 
  6. Fiscal policy of Pakistan

Preparation 

If you want to prepare for Exams and want to get higher marks in Exams, you should study the topics above. 

6 out of 3 topics are easy to prepare, such as fiscal policy, tax administration, and FBR functions. 

These are small topics that provide comprehensive information. 

Therefore, you can easily prepare these and other 3 are income tax, sales tax, and Federal Excise Act 2005.  

People who have not read the income tax act and law may have difficulty learning about it or cramming it. 

These 3 topics should definitely be taught by a teacher who is trained in them. 

Candidates may not be able to cram to qualify until they understand these topics. 

Candidates must attend proper and regular classes.

If they hope to pass the examination on their first attempt.

They can get conceptual clarity for the exam by doing so. 

To give your teacher regular tests, it is essential for you to practice again and again. 

If the candidate prepares well for the test, they may be able to score 80+ on the written test, qualifying them for the interview. 

Generally 60% to 80% Students try to use shortcut methods for exams preparation which is the wrong method. 

What do they do? 

They just buy a MCQS book and start memorizing it. 

That method of learning may be helpful for some candidates but some people do not get desired results. 

So that they can qualify. 

Just because they don’t have a clear understanding of the current tax ratio of Pakistan.  

In order to get a job in FBR, we recommend taking assistance from an experienced teacher.
