In Pakistan the different categories of testing mechanisms for admission criteria is given below:
National Aptitude Test (NAT) I/II:
Basically NAT exam is for admission in most Govt Universities and Colleges of Pakistan.
It is conducted by the National Testing Service.
The National Assessment Test (NAT) is designed to evaluate verbal, mathematical, and analytical abilities that have been developed through time and are not necessarily tied to any particular subject of study.
The NAT Test is meant to assist graduate school admission committees in assessing the qualifications of applicants to their programmes, and it is frequently needed for admission into public sector colleges/universities bachelor's and master's degree programmes.
Any qualified graduate, professional, or university department may require a candidate to take the NAT test. The admissions committee might use the score to evaluate undergraduate records and other criteria for admission.
You are not allowed to take only a portion of the NAT. The entire exam of four sections must be taken during one administration. The exam is offered four time a year (information on test dates is available on the official website of NTS:
