The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) is a statutory regulatory body established under the Drugs Act, 1976. It is responsible for the regulation of drugs, medical devices, and cosmetics in Pakistan. The main functions of DRAP include:

  • Registration of drugs, medical devices, and cosmetics
  • Inspection of manufacturing facilities
  • Post-marketing surveillance of drugs, medical devices, and cosmetics
  • Enforcement of the Drugs Act, 1976 and other relevant laws and regulations

Eligibility Criteria For Drug Inspector Exam:

Education:

The qualification of the candidates depends on the job scale. 

For Director (RO-15), Ph.D in Accountancy with 10 years related experience, Cost and Management Accountant or Chartered Accountant with post membership with 13 years related experience preferably in analysis of pricing /
costing of pharmaceutical and health care products or MBA (Finance) / M.Com, with 15 years’ experience preferably in analysis of pricing / costing of pharmaceuticals and health care products
Note: Qualification background with basic qualification in Pharmacy would be preferable.

For Assistant Director (RO-12), Master in any field of computer Science, Bioinformatics or equivalent with 03 years subject experience.

For Stenotypist (RO-10), FA / Fsc Minimum Speed of 80 / 40 w.p.m in shorthand / typing respectively. Must be computer literate.

For Electrician (RO-05), DAE in Electrical Engineering is required.

Age Limit For Drug Inspection Officer Exam:

Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years. But for some job positions it might be as high as 45 years which is mentioned in the advertisement.

How to Apply For Drug Inspector Recruitment Test:

  1. Interested candidates may apply online at https://etc.hec.gov.pk/#/ within 15 days of publishing of this
    advertisement by depositing requisite fee for each post.
  2. Challan Form and detailed instructions on how to apply are available on HEC ETC’s website.
  3. Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained. 
  4. Information on the application will be verified in the event of appointment.  In case of any false, forged information DRAP reserves the right to cancel your candidature at any stage (even after employment, if so revealed later) and to initiate a legal action against the application. 
  5. Test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  7. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.

  10. Department has the right to accept/reject or cancel any application or recruitment process at any stage with assigning any reason. 

Exam for Drug Inspector Job Recruitment:

The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), which is part of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, has posted job openings for a variety of roles (NHS, R&C).
