How to join PAF
Join PAF After Matric
To join The Pakistan Air Force after High school, you will need to follow the following steps:
- Meet the eligibility criteria: You must be a Pakistani national, between 16.5 and 20 years of age, and have passed 10th class with a minimum of 60% marks in Science and English. You must also meet the physical and medical standards set by PAF.
- Register online: Go to the Pakistan Air Force website and submit a PAF online registration form.

- Physics with any two subjects i.e, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics and Biology.
candidates must have a minimum grade point average of 60% to 65%, with a minimum of 45%in major subjects. (i.e, Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Statistics and Computer Science according to the selected degree) You cannot join the Pakistan Air Force if you have a degree in I.Com, ICS, D.Com, however, a bachelor's degree in B.Com, BSCS is acceptable.

You can apply for positions as an officer in the Pakistan Air Force through the Short Service Commission by enlisting in the following fields.

Following candidates are ineligible for joining PAF (Pakistan Air Force)
- Declared permanently unfit on medical grounds for Defense Forces
- Candidates with dual registration at same or different I & SC for one entry
- Dismissed from any Government Service or withdrawn from any Service Training Institution on medical or disciplinary grounds
- Convicted by a court of law for an offense involving moral turpitude
- Candidate whose documents are found tampered with
- Candidates unable to qualify initial tests or final merit list thrice for induction of airmen
- Candidates who have concealed or provided any incorrect information at the time of registration
- Suspended / withdrawn from PAF / Army / Navy on disciplinary grounds
