Anar Kali
The story goes that Anarkali, a beautiful courtesan, fell in love with Prince Salim, the son of Emperor Akbar. Their love was forbidden, and when Akbar discovered their relationship, he opposed it. Anarkali was entombed alive, and the love story between Anarkali and Salim became a popular tale of forbidden love, sacrifice, and tragedy.
